请问买Estate的地或者Acreage

网上搜索出一些有限的信息，杂志的信息也很多是旧的，联系过上面列出来的地方，都是几年前规划好了，人家都不卖了。自己也开车到处转了转去找，有不是太远，交通便利点的２ Acres的47万上下。如果城市内，1/3 Acre就 40-50万。贵，没钱，想买１ Acre左右的。有没有朋友有经验，推荐些地方？相关的信息哪儿找呢？谢谢！

It's in Sherwood Park, not in Edmonton.
I know that Lake Summerside in Edmonton do have estate lots for sale at 400-500k. I have no idea how big they are. But there's powerline just a few hundred meters away.

It's seems you don't really know what you want. You first talked about "acreage", but then shifted the topic to residential lots. They are very different.

I am considering both.
Estate lots in the city are expensive, at the same price of 2 acres in the rural area, close to 500k.
Plus the cost to build a house on such lots/acreage is at least twice to four times as much as normal residential houses. I can't afford it.
So I am trying to find a 1 acre in the rural area, not too far away from the city.
Do you have any information?

既然你还是要造房的，那么最好的选择是已经有房子的可以作为主要住宅的，如：

现在这种房子挺稀缺的，一两年前还有一些100万以内的，现在越来越难。

其实在住宅区挤挤也不错。

我看的２ Acres的地，开车到Edmonton市中心30分钟车程。

I strongly advise to focus on urban subdivisions, for the money you wanna spend, you can buy or build a pretty nice house in the SW. BTW, do you ever think about the water supply/sewage disposal problem that come with acreage living, these inconvenience is something which urban dwellers may not appreciate.

一点问题都没有，看的都是开发商规划好的区，city water啊什么都有，看起来就像是拉宽拉大了的小区一样。

如果考虑退休以后住的话，建议你到温莎买。我去年买了一英亩，是一个大农田的靠路边的一个角。两边有水沟，非常平整的土地。这个月我种上了樱桃，李子，桃子，还打算种香椿林。水沟里我种了莲藕。土地里各种蔬菜都能种，如果盖房子，水电就在地头，马路对面住着人家。温莎这地方，工作不好找，退休绝对是个好地方，物价低，气候好。我相信20年以后，我们这波大陆移民快到退休的年龄这里肯定会有很多人相中的。我这块地离城里COSTCO 9公里，直线公路，交通非常方便。
