Edmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.) X8 O) [6 ~$ q

The woman was found slain inside the 1,200-square-foot home shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, said Edmonton police spokeswoman Lisa Sobchyshyn.( I3 ^0 } c8 W& v9 c

Forensics officers continued to probe the scene at 10816 52 St. on Tuesday night.
