3 g6 c6 ?6 F) [3 E2 ^ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
) D: k# p  V8 f& J/ \. V* |- d Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
* B7 T; E4 f8 v; L# j* n4 E' s* N9 \ Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
( P3 k" S% k. L/ t. I$ F2 g Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
4 f% P0 a! a" @+ b# H8 _1 {, G Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
+ }1 A4 J4 O9 G1 Q" h  f2 h1 @; @5 s Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
) o) p3 y+ h/ J" [6 x/ j+ _) D8 X Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

0 B. V: U0 |" r' wQualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
, H: q, W. y0 s0 U8 O2 d- N Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
7 y. B5 W8 ~3 x  P Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
0 G  G) L8 r- W3 u: I/ Z( f2 sThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
+ n0 O+ X$ }+ c$ `( lThere is a 3-month probationary period.
