 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.2 a3 r& Q! P4 t \- t% `* T
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.( T- A6 M+ N( |6 V
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
* B7 T; E4 f8 v; L# j* n4 E' s* N9 \ Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
( P3 k" S% k. L/ t. I$ F2 g Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.7 c9 e# z r/ Y& g1 m' Y1 h
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.- y& s( I! t% o6 t* x* r3 T
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
, H: q, W. y0 s0 U8 O2 d- N Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.# `; M! ]. b- Y2 {7 b. b# q; _! V
 Knowledge of community resources.+ y3 l: {( Y4 K v
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.

Position:
0 G G) L8 r- W3 u: I/ Z( f2 sThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
