# `$ \+ c9 |) S* L6 b Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
, p# f& F0 C1 r* y' T. B Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
9 X$ |9 o. |8 m0 ~+ ` Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
! O8 o% `! @% ]- F* N Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
9 F. R+ c& q4 L& c- h2 Y2 K) G Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
: i" Q# }1 R! F$ W6 b, @" J Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
, S3 _) c% d2 L5 ]$ d Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
) Q# w- k6 A8 ^% E4 cThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
