On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

$ [' W) U6 F3 h1 s) PBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
$ X" w8 C4 `$ o% Y' L3 J( W( d+ h, k+ Y9 j
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
0 i: r/ E h$ r& h% \digging for and examining fossils + h- o: d3 \+ A- Y) |# @
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
* j" S7 B3 a4 I5 v3 g$ E. D1 Qinvestigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
