0 ]! U" y1 C( {0 b' G0 lOn Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.6 U( w0 f( p1 ~4 Q
, ^, z# w8 I+ [9 w( ]+ I
Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:& Z* u5 D/ ?% |9 z' m$ U. M
% H, Q' J# N3 N9 V$ wlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut * |; T, a' x( M) [ z
digging for and examining fossils
, L& l0 F+ [" p# ~0 V; Z; Bexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
. N. e* Z6 u8 m2 h, ?) ninvestigating insects
) S% R. ~2 ~3 ~! ^" y4 d+ _7 sand much more!
9 k( N9 n( E% K“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
