On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:" o q. n3 p/ W% r
. K. y% |, ^5 \4 z( l* M
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut , I) r- w( B0 I
digging for and examining fossils
& d$ y" O: r) Z5 A8 S" Mexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
' K \9 I$ X2 `2 E* y0 a. ^investigating insects 8 y4 ?+ P3 k4 ^1 r' q

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.3 }2 B, x5 u& k$ ^" i* G7 j
