题目：如何在阿尔伯塔省做土木工程师

讲员：Ms. 纪 P.Eng, M.Eng。现为Senior Civil/Structure Engineer, 早年毕业于清华土木工程, 有多年中国及加拿大工作经验。 V9 w R( y3 w3 d+ H$ V

内容提要: 讨论进入加拿大本专业工作的策略；介绍加拿大提供土木工程学位的大学和主要课程；介绍阿尔伯塔省的油砂地，工艺流程，油砂工业里主要的结构和基础类型；在项目整个过程中土木工程师的工作；最后讨论结构设计的技术问题，设计规范，设计成果，如何写计算书，节点设计，基础设计，动力基础设计，模块设计。' I+ R5 z M% j" F4 d8 M+ D$ j. o1 W- O3 w

0 g& r3 V8 V q3 o3 l- Q! j6 \' XIntroduce Alberta’s oil sand deposits, ways of producing bitumen, process, explain type of structures for each processing steps, and why maintenance projects are always needed in oil sand companies.
3 {7 L: F7 A: E! ^% J& X+ C! RIntroduce project execution plan, and explain what civil/structural engineers need to do in a project, what are the engineering deliverables in different stages. , C* C, R, X+ y8 z; x
At last, discuss the structural designs in heavy industry, introduce the types of structures/foundations in heavy industry, design code/specifications/, design deliverables, what should a calculation report include? Some information on detail design, foundation design, dynamic foundation design and modularization design. |
