Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:
  n- d, n; B8 Y# I0 l
: |4 H0 {& V% Z7 N" ~# AControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)
0 Z3 a+ p; v" b! D# _$ {
' D  S% ?7 J& RA "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.
% P! |3 O) [+ X& D5 u$ L& c
I am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

xp应该有很多中文输入键盘格式可以选，你选的哪一种?
