"Two cases of human swine influenza have been confirmed in Alberta -- one in Calgary and the other in northern Alberta," said Dr Andre Corriveau, Alberta's chief medical officer for health matters, in a statement.) b0 _! R C; n( }9 p7 V" g
5 M" b$ |/ f" S/ v, `"Both individuals are male and have experienced a mild form of human swine flu," Corriveau said, adding that one of the patients already had fully recovered, while the other was nearly better.

# t X" G4 U+ o& @4 _- b"These cases show that our monitoring and surveillance system is working as it should," he said, calling both bouts of the potentially deadly illness "mild."
