烤蛋糕

• 1 cup sugar

• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 5 O# \1 k3 y/ x1 a
• 4 eggs, well beaten0 I5 Z5 ~& o' [

PREPARATION:
# K. k& x- @, Z' l/ d, W9 QBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 0 t4 l! n- P; I z4 |8 n% ?
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
$ l/ m1 F6 f1 h3 {7 g" m: DBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.& B5 h! k4 }( U
$ q. Z/ E1 O; z K/ ^这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。; _. Y* F/ u6 ^/ T
beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
