EDMONTON - A woman was killed Monday when the truck she was driving turned over and crushed her beneath its roof.! W) v3 d: w/ A0 }4 X
% G# v5 Y! V+ r' a; E; _The woman was driving a gravel truck two kilometres north of Westlock when it veered off the road. The truck rolled across Highway 44, trapping and crushing the woman in the cab.* \' w1 U* I4 G- E6 O' y

Audrey Wiedrick, 57, from Westlock, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to RCMP. She was not wearing a seat belt.8 X7 c& Z: [3 F* K8 G1 I! a* k" n, K
Wiedrick worked for Alberta Highway Services and was hauling a water tank and asphalt packer when the accident occurred, said Jason Maloney, spokesman for the Alberta occupational health and safety office.! ?$ B3 O$ y) K) ]6 |3 ?; R" K

"The truck is considered a workplace, that was the driver's workplace," Maloney said, explaining why they are investigating.
