Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and# C, _9 I. M/ m7 w* t+ u
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft b M5 P a* W
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
8 Z ^* C. ^0 \8 o, s2 uChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
2 k3 u+ H$ }1 z9 Oartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.) q; P* p9 F7 [: L* _2 U3 i
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for" _: R( W- D% t% C2 J6 U/ {7 L
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the7 ^/ N* E3 y7 q( ~# ^
recyclables.
+ m( A# m2 S( u, yFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be5 G4 s5 \7 g, u- d
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
/ X/ E0 y& O, M# I2 [Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
$ }" R, Z3 S) g3 L9 P7 ythem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
2 f! g% z5 I( h" B! C% Q$ f, Vhours are part of this crew’s duties.
$ L% B, a' |& m9 T2 ]+ e9 f. rInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the1 ?7 i# [' ~! _( _1 s7 `9 Q8 J5 H0 v* \/ @
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide* q2 q5 u1 t. I/ {) g7 t8 Z b
programs to visitors to the festival.
: I. j5 ?9 n$ G4 dKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
8 Z4 ]$ m/ D: l0 [% \9 ieveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.6 j3 C( a+ h2 c3 e6 y
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed K! i. T; j* Q4 u+ k. J; H
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

0 ?- ` f9 I, U) x8 Y: H1 ?* GSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is6 r, M Z1 e% J! U, K' R9 [
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
: v( a% P- y+ b# m, Ware physically fit and ready for any emergency.3 ]6 @9 B! H: D; b. ^
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training! T7 ^; l$ f/ X% e9 x
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
9 X3 b8 |! J7 Z- @Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be* g. s( G; g6 d& J3 n( W
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as9 i- C6 I3 Y( O$ S/ Y
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
& v( s* ?6 g6 p4 }staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
