Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and+ Z, `1 T! D% x2 q
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft1 J- P/ ^) C9 z& M% t
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
* [* B% \$ D% oChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the5 K1 L7 [) O% O; `$ D4 M) M
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.! D. A' i1 u' ]& G
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
- [- T# ^2 Y& {3 W% ]( @1 tvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the

Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
3 _$ Z& _' l, G0 h! j7 _9 Lpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
4 J) ]0 D; ?( `3 C [9 S y* XHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
7 U% [% @2 c5 @% g: Gthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late# l7 g& b. h$ Z% |7 L4 Q. C
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
1 g9 }! o0 s* I9 `( _, ?- JInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
. X6 y% w3 `3 z9 M. S4 ?8 m+ q5 Wfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide: F. e& Q, l& g" X1 s
programs to visitors to the festival.; H/ V1 C, S8 N( R5 S, U
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
% U/ l7 D, \) y2 ?everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.% o9 A Q6 Y' A5 W. v
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed) F" ?3 \; R- A
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the& y; ]1 H1 i% @- K0 s
festival.* a2 X) f ^- s N, r+ Z
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
6 Y( T |4 F+ y% W1 k6 goperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
+ w4 x: d0 G+ v8 r" Tare physically fit and ready for any emergency.
: S) u; k$ H2 X/ dStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
; `. @) s: }; B6 z9 C0 ^and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
/ B" f, G3 n9 J7 vTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
7 u! Y S* O; ^/ ~( krequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
M. `9 p$ `7 _. T* w2 iairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival. q% I' G+ S% C, W
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
