Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the% L$ B4 ]: s# I* f3 `9 s- ]

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and" ^/ M `- n D) a
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
* _2 G4 e4 l- X' B* s$ r6 G2 Aprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up." G# F# [, k) B$ a/ F2 C
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the/ D' R0 l E0 r6 o& M
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.+ x! G4 }+ S6 `7 M L
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for! F' Z2 p" |! C9 J; l5 R; `% e
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the" ]$ W) m3 D/ |' |
recyclables.- L$ ?; J' ]: V& }( W
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
& r. R G+ X+ \/ c3 L! [; Epart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
) |; }/ T# a7 d/ N' J% ]9 U+ M1 ^Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
+ ~5 C' P3 P. h% Qthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late8 R* N4 G3 S) ?! j
hours are part of this crew’s duties.- L% i, p+ i; j, Y2 l0 o; {1 V3 z
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
4 j" P+ }; z& ]9 t, g% g/ Afestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide" L0 w$ H' J$ e9 N
programs to visitors to the festival.( Q# A7 F# g' z, m/ U0 a
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
K$ f+ U2 T8 u3 peveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience." u& R% z/ X7 t) T, R8 n6 {
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed# U3 I+ j# d- _; d$ G
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
) Q5 X0 q9 [% @# O' [9 p9 k" n( t1 s Hfestival.
/ z1 l; O, F. ySite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is4 R8 A/ u& c* Z- u" Z5 `8 e
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you+ {7 ? U7 i7 y& j# P+ V: c
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.% |" y& c" k/ ^; w$ o, R& Y
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training9 P D$ ?* ]/ f# s# W( D6 `
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.4 L, Q# Q/ D5 T8 s% M
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
: q: y0 p" B- p! W U+ V: R v1 v- Zrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
& W D$ x: m- u' ?7 g; i' U0 qairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival; ^ {, [" J) d) c/ O" X# J
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
