0 X, {: n q0 }Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and$ P2 P, w/ p0 l$ j
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft0 a7 D0 M( z. V/ W6 `
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.& C2 A! i+ P. j
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
) G( Y$ K% Z& I5 \artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come., q8 v) F7 Q8 D9 X( p6 w3 t
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for' ?9 I8 I" O0 {- v7 ^
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the7 _+ ~% _# e/ |9 h' w
recyclables.! D- ~% r2 V4 M* L( r( ?9 R! E5 X2 Z
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be1 g5 }+ D' Y H, J* X9 A2 [
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.! u8 s9 U8 w2 P! n" m
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing# I9 E( \; [/ {- O
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late, X9 a5 `' D# X- x! M: L2 R' V8 j( ?
hours are part of this crew’s duties. y9 k" Y* r/ S9 ?6 s6 ~2 ?: Q
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the1 N4 T0 D% c' a3 G ^$ R& G
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
0 L5 b2 L) T0 C3 j- N* l1 gprograms to visitors to the festival.
$ p. u% B/ {' FKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for/ X( j6 Y. I I% p6 Q
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
' x" E' C# d4 [4 F5 wOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
" N8 L2 u8 Z# N$ V9 f+ Cevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the: y/ ^3 p1 l5 r( V: W( ]7 f8 S' @
festival.% S5 e) z+ f) u% h* B
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
0 Y8 e/ F, Q, o) X& Y H$ Toperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
6 z0 q" O% @9 k2 `- Oare physically fit and ready for any emergency.
! {. l9 E- t# t7 j. Z9 hStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
6 J# h! `# W' Dand/or understanding of back stage procedures.8 x, q0 W6 r3 Y9 h$ a
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be1 f. G/ }$ u2 B7 X F7 H
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as' o8 p) a4 y3 R- s
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
