The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at

7 ~( a3 x( d2 x+ rtheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
  ^; o+ q- {1 V% E
instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
2 h8 l- ^7 _7 GCantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
3 ], f1 w- O8 u1 L/ N$ C) JAchievements
% {3 C4 u3 U) n, r) yin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
" O0 k, |8 e6 aDevelopment
0 ^" b/ G# U$ z; xCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a

* |8 x; q/ L. p# q# q* t# tsongs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to

crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
