The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
% i4 C+ w6 m% s) H$ W8 @% A; wSUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
; S1 t6 u& @4 |% k; {Achievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts

* u" B; M% U) m1 ~; XCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a

songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
! ~" }2 o& y, l4 e% Q# Hcrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
