JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
$ q( A. ^& ?0 d" u. ?(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

# T3 k, e$ E2 ^- Q: ^DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
( K0 L4 h0 |! G5 w) O+ u4 f4 C$ B0 o- Vand are University affiliated.
6 ?6 M; O/ a- H; ]" M: d* G! E
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

$ f4 m1 X) K4 E& N  v3 ~* Q4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

' m+ k) Z8 M: L8 T- X) Q3 i5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
: t5 y3 r/ B3 v4 harea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

) ~9 A- Y6 }6 {5 X) q; R: Z! m2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
. ?2 W; ^6 `# }7 N: f( }1 k  iof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

9 \/ r! S- C  Z! ]  @6 y9 J. i3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
) \  ^6 ]1 N2 Z% V) V( d
! e2 T; y( I" i3 W5 k  z9 S4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
