DOORPERSON (RATT)

( M( ^- S0 Y- {7 ]8 xJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
: h2 w1 |3 s& [6 ~(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
. b: X+ Q$ P  T6 {  d, Cpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

( B) H8 W& M5 M0 B6 f2 W# @3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
. e; N- A, j1 ]7 E0 A" V; g. Lof garbage.

3 N/ m" Y7 ]! p# I5 r/ k! \4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
! t' k9 J# V, F+ t* _8 h0 PManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

% L2 T; Q# Y1 o- O5 ^QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
, j* Z4 S: Z8 `* p: d7 ^% J- Hof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
) W: F) c/ r+ Q- N1 q: w! Qcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
& @) O5 ]# H* e# i+ Z2 S) C8 q
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

' J  H; K: f: f% P1 H4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
