JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

8 R  ^3 u4 K, _# W" E' K2 ZDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 s$ H' d2 a& x' `& {1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
* O) v; Y+ d% x- ?
! i& N( e2 b  E2 {. K6 p3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

# t7 l# [1 k- J7 B& @' ^4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
# P) |! E, C; i) ?3 Gconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

% f. q! v% e; R5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

9 F: V! c# a" l8 y) ^7 H" m4 L) t6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
- e* D* x/ O" V/ ^Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
& ?3 Q0 h, x& l4 e6 P/ Z1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
4 e9 T2 j& g, k% ], `  Xof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

! m+ e7 p  ?" o. o3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
0 ]" G& }# D  V5 H% W; `
4) Must be physically capable.

! V& U4 `8 Q4 \6 q3 b, E) ^9 A: K. s5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
