9 h  u7 u4 l% |5 TJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

* K7 d4 ^7 ^+ l% c  |: d' FDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
# X9 h2 z' Q5 }1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

6 i, r6 Q* r. w( z3 I% h5 z, c2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

1 l+ Z: u9 {7 v) D3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
, \! F# z5 {2 u0 e
" _! m8 m5 R! e6 E) W/ w& G6 u4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

9 E4 d0 J- O6 e2 h# o  H5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
( I* e8 i) l1 r0 N' E: ^0 larea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

4 g# Q; E9 v8 _/ x) e5 U5 _# X5 b/ JQUALIFICATIONS;
9 ~; a1 [5 T2 j; E& }1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
3 Y) w! d; q* D$ D* c8 l, A
* l% w2 U& R. ]  T3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
+ M5 u# `) J5 {8 r9 l% x$ K4 l
  T! t9 E3 `+ w4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
( t$ W4 E+ K' A7 qpublic.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
