DOORPERSON (RATT)

) \& m( \+ v, a( @- k% IJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
/ H" d. f, _/ d4 K; c- Z! i(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
4 N/ b! |& \' t; C1 gpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
; H' L( A% _* p1 ^3 m6 k8 v. dand are University affiliated.

* X; `! x/ Z4 R- j5 g- a# I0 F2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
, W$ r$ X+ f  L, _$ e5 R9 p+ m+ cof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

0 G& a+ N" d2 k* Q# @( G5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
# y, `+ G% |, ]$ v  x- T4 S5 tarea when required.

Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
* P7 m/ \) n* j- a9 a1 f8 a# T& N
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

/ ]( y' @* K* C2 x# l3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
; F! m- \) `, K; v. }/ J' p- a1 Y
4) Must be physically capable.

/ a6 V% W# a) c/ ^  c# O, f* ?6 n4 \5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
