KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

, b' u& J0 A0 x8 g; {2 ~1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
& n6 [" h& v0 h. r
1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
! v% f& @! j" i- i4 h2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
( [4 Y+ V% W; }3 @8 A3 p: ]- N' R7 y3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
/ n. T4 d* g$ x+ M( t4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
2 O  N9 o1 z4 u) |7 g5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
; Q. C: ~. i4 n/ b1 X- D6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
