KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

+ o/ b9 [6 p" u* z5 _' \4 S5 C1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. ( E# r1 {, @ `- E& b: T
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
( N$ A% F- w2 i; W% \3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

; R3 z; ^7 [6 n; P7 tPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
, e2 K* n Z- s# a" S# E2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
0 P5 O* [" V8 p7 v: Z5 _3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. * U2 p' P: F! ^1 \
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
2 R9 C: R; V8 Y5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
