ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter' A' N) \& q- o/ A& J8 I6 M, V
The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.

& [0 A* \, Z# h. I3 o1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.# t5 e% c" i, L- J
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
4 n+ i4 @. ~3 L3 Z3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
) \9 T0 b/ W+ m4. Team player and also able to work independently. Able to deal proactively with change and achieve goals through coordination with other people.
