ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

8 J% l: x" V% V" c0 l8 ?6 _7 ^0 PThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.2 A1 E+ i! n& Y; p0 N7 Z0 u

1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.4 B2 U. K6 ^* W+ T! E v
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations./ A6 r$ s; P6 @7 T$ c, M) w( S( m
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
