JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the

cleanliness and order in the bar.

, K. V- w- `6 ]$ l$ U, w0 pDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8 k$ o( f+ [0 c, v& s* X1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and + s) L" ]+ R& p
beverage items.( X% X' X9 ?/ X1 C

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the 6 i4 X# S1 k, N* @, z
bar and debit floats.+ ~% j4 s, m8 S5 \& B, p6 v

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of 2 |6 e% n6 k/ ]3 p2 j
each shift, and upon closing.7 L$ D9 m4 T5 [2 ] ^

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular : w" ^5 a9 X% z$ G2 v! O* R
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and 1 r; f* V) ^4 |) D; y1 [
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.7 G2 t+ e" R+ t0 `
' l& @; f7 z+ E, J3 t' z5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
; L* g$ U- h% U2 M( l8 istorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
" W! ~$ S! _6 {products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.) A; ]- D4 u3 y& i. Y* J: q8 `
; S* Y' ~$ X& S" F! _/ d! b: [6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close ! m4 X# M- j5 s5 b9 R/ m
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a ! e8 a5 d l; n: g, j1 |* x8 P
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in

QUALIFICATIONS:5 j; ^6 v4 J2 y) s
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

& J% }- M0 U$ w( }7 C2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume 6 ~- a7 m* T0 s. n2 i# l
operation. f2 Y! I8 H l/ s! O- b
# |) U) p/ ~4 z" n5 r. r" |) F3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in . \+ ?+ {6 N1 U
accordance with Students' Union policy.
