JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the
2 @) \4 C. h' B O% OBartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for
5 z. ^" e, Y1 T9 qcarrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of

5 N% ` |" B; E" \! O, y& rDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
2 [# p: ^& \" p" s3 l6 ]0 v+ A1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
' [/ R! ~/ e! P! X- W% Lhigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
, R0 _5 q, _9 B, V; A) r, j6 oaccordance with Students' Union policies.
; B6 x/ L' Y7 \! C) @; U! [; P6 c2 x% [8 D
3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the 7 r8 P2 V& T6 v* o3 l
total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,
7 A' `/ p! _& \4 J @ s! E3 xincluding regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal 5 U2 W ]9 q. k0 r- x6 f3 L
and ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate 3 Q/ L- q1 R6 G5 f& U
action when necessary in accordance with established Server
2 x0 X* P$ {2 ~; G- Kintervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.- A/ Y+ G$ ~7 K0 w4 q. c. A
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health I8 [ z8 \- F# B/ `. d) Z
Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

, t5 A5 Y' D; E$ I1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.( @% u- h+ {: {* h5 c% N* Q N
1 H7 m+ F" l M; p* A2 h7 ]" d2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based / p2 ?5 O& C( j! }
operation.
3 G! T2 w" K6 @- n8 l* q/ G& Q" s" b" f# `
3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union
( t( q$ Z$ K4 c) K/ u) A3 gpolicy.! L+ d6 r# \$ M0 ~

card transactions.
