Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
9 }: S% v1 \1 b" ^3 v4 eCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus7 j& f c, W+ ?6 s6 ?8 O
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
3 x! m/ C4 L( l0 U% [0 a" W4 petc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
+ w0 _# a$ Q. u5 t8 @5 q) X* H5 }participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and& d! i! }3 [- \; n* u) L, C9 G
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
) t- b" K0 ?0 ]3 Ztheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,' k; L9 s8 y9 v
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
8 R1 p+ Y4 H/ O: c4 C- mvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city' z& A8 U, T7 X1 l, A: t+ W3 v4 K
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city! O/ B; {& P+ D9 A" v. i
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night: u4 i% M/ [# o2 @3 F* @
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
( s" C: {1 J& w! C: [9 }functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
: D7 B! ^/ }5 N1 XCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
* P5 {& x a' X2 b) dfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
* O& i" s N Y {5 c0 o/ t; I, Cdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake8 Z) z9 E* q; `6 V3 [
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those- _ ~+ B# v& J% _5 M
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
' y- G) u- {& y7 A3 bskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,6 F2 p7 f# Y, G: q, q
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
