Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30# h$ b( u7 G2 O, O5 I( A

the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at* a C0 |' v+ C/ | q1 r5 t& D8 W
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus# ?2 w$ |2 K7 \5 u
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
; S7 l2 L/ \) b2 w1 aetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
Q) |8 t' p$ T. s3 lparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and+ ^/ @$ Q6 a/ ?# o
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during: N* | O6 ~" D5 w; D$ m
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,) L5 g/ b: K1 n0 [+ b2 w
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking1 m$ \1 ?' ^* h% D' p- L9 `4 H
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city, v* g- U2 y8 a. [( u
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
. `8 I7 ?( c' q4 G4 fexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
6 L( I# y+ R, P* ]3 pexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
5 t: x: P u* v" `( ?: WCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
3 D+ F' V; A: C/ q( r n, @fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
4 [% P) `6 K3 T7 bdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
! I6 f. t; p, N$ j6 P* Ga variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those/ E7 j0 m* v6 q# x
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management4 g1 c/ J* k; P, ^5 ~3 Y: A& g
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
# Y0 R" m E; i1 A2 t2 dExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
