Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at3 I2 m/ Y5 I! {2 @8 q0 ^
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus1 l& \5 a( X9 m5 T& z, o3 v
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,& f9 i7 O( H, k
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
% l0 D% {" O1 M* z* [participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
z' b7 o+ c' x2 Gtheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during. \) B/ v1 B2 U+ A4 w5 _! G
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
; {- m( R' C9 k/ j* j- i: Lassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
2 F- E, `% R' Q1 |* @; Z2 f, ]venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
- E& [: ~. \8 n, ~7 ]- voutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city3 C( i3 ^/ D; e( z, ^
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night( r3 @/ G. o: E
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or# U3 N) ~) P5 J, ^8 j
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
% c% W4 ~+ S; J( C' }5 O- ^such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
4 f1 C- D7 H. ^8 q+ V, I% Ppresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in% i7 E/ j9 z- P! q; Q
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
& ^1 T3 A1 I3 @- @6 T2 U# wfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,1 ?6 i: J; E7 w* f/ B3 i
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
A% {' j: ~6 l" _; _5 X) U* I* `, aa variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those8 f, p% K7 k' A- D- @
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management" q2 [% q' j. r, s
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
" ^* E. d' \$ x: A8 [Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
