pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
4 l9 \1 z0 H# |5 ?- `7 D, Y- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
# {& L5 ~- |) o' C7 [$ F$ u, bschool year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
! @. A5 C6 L) T' N$ Uvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
$ |0 `$ q+ N* H2 l; s! Petc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
6 n9 Y/ [& ]- O* _; }' ?their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
: i7 N# U5 S3 Y" {1 ?+ zassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
) M: A3 [" W0 @' B7 U7 ?excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
; _" G, x' e/ C' Q+ v# Gfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
$ W6 s8 V, D4 x* l7 K3 `7 d& Ipresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.
+ u8 p5 j1 G8 u: k4 f7 L9 }
Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
$ Z: m2 @3 o) f  g1 m9 JCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
' Y  d$ j, a$ P1 efluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
) J/ f/ F' e  Y/ y7 d6 [) x; Odemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
) G9 A" t" y% `% u% M7 Ga variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
1 g9 d1 j0 [+ m% T7 Bexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
