9195.  

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

. }+ |) }( \: P. w& ?Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
4 N$ G; \0 ]3 N; y# E1 gtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
$ K1 o0 Z6 t/ Pinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

+ \' [/ W& H7 c9 EQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
6 D4 z) J! B) S  m. Aanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
+ C2 C8 c9 z1 T# |# z  Lseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
