Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
$ K$ p3 Y- w* k! ]6 @technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
: Y4 U* O% o/ G3 g, D) o6 M3 Jfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
1 _( q  X% e4 e8 Hinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
- N- D9 F9 v6 ~* Z1 i2 y) ocompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
7 Z* q2 |" Q$ S! U$ G( z0 uChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
( U& j2 t" J+ u7 O. O& Fseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
3 a* K7 h0 a' \+ H, y4 x8 S' i0 W: j& phope to work in these areas.
