Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
  P6 L6 t- s& `8 g  [: ttechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

& @* r% k) a' h: X; x5 F5 E% O( O% l& iQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
3 r4 Y( z+ k# A1 lanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
* u9 v2 x9 B6 x6 ^- ]$ H4 Kseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
# N1 k+ `9 v: @) fand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
* m' a( g4 f5 Y8 W  {5 fhope to work in these areas.
