Job Summary:

Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.+ G; ` c+ r' x# a2 ^7 ~0 R. i* _

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
. B# R( w7 `' t) k: [/ e0 i% u) nInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials! M0 {/ H8 \- T' }! g
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
, t& F2 s# `, H- QMust be able to work safely at all times- c* J! B$ R3 _! R; T+ o; A5 h
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently# m2 F. f( b) N( M- A& w

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

High school diploma (Or GED)
7 H6 N2 G# W" ^) N) c5 c6 `% f% q5 zWell-articulated and assertive
* ]9 i1 h6 c; x" k% P& s2 i! `Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
* {2 d+ t" H9 ?/ b# tAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
