CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

: I! [2 i3 O( C- [% H4 s· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

, ~* ?. h6 m9 \· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

: X2 P* l* ?7 U5 V/ s, z( K# _· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
* k" ?1 m3 M4 Y: w" D3 C
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
: }! P0 H/ ?  k8 H6 {3 q, b/ ~5 S
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

! ~* L6 {, H+ t; b" j) ^$ E0 {! P· Secure loads safely
& `1 r5 E" y5 K
· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
, `4 {7 e) U8 _0 A7 t! c6 sQualifications and Training Requirements

4 i, \7 I0 q3 y· Minimum 3 years experience
) ]3 [! J( X) X* b* S
8 X1 L% Z' B& t9 [4 B( v· Valid Class 1 license

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

+ v, r: ^9 q4 x* T· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
