Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

% O3 s. r8 g. b' a· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

  K" X- {/ e9 x( I/ ~- n· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

2 K( J. d' @# Z; N9 y· Load securement certification

0 h- Q4 _, y- X, m" ~· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

0 Z' K1 m' Y3 G# c' M- c& M· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
