CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
. {% T+ t5 J4 \/ t
% P% }4 v9 `, @  u6 W1 p· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
) p0 a9 e& u) D$ |
7 o( d0 H7 L% j7 V7 F) x0 }# f' e, A· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

3 Y2 H6 S+ q% u2 Z· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

9 r! K7 u6 C8 w" H· Operate manual and automatic shifts

- _# o+ t& V0 O2 Q, S  @· Secure loads safely

9 x9 V, Q' b5 T! \· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
5 P. M% A, _1 c( p) ~$ q% b" Y' BQualifications and Training Requirements

( q) ~5 o* C( y: z· Minimum 3 years experience
3 P$ A# G9 B( i9 S; [6 p  E5 D
· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
2 r6 i/ Y+ u* @; K% \
· Load securement certification
. K& U8 w$ ]% k2 `
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
/ h* f+ o  F6 H6 Z6 |7 ^, x& \8 ^! A
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
. @1 Q" M6 O$ c# ], I+ x  G9 t
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

# e1 m* |, |9 f8 B8 M$ M# A· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

4 [2 v/ M1 G' l· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
