CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

0 k! U- V" D) N1 D0 g! X9 z· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

: X( g% A! G/ B% Z, a" `' ^0 O· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
( f( a8 ~1 F- p* ]8 k9 i/ ~: m
' @, ~2 E( t" h, \7 l9 @& n/ L% `# t· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
' g; h3 D& h! c2 p; ^7 n: c
% F( T. x1 _- o/ ^$ N· Operate manual and automatic shifts

; c8 d3 t) i: m% U9 k9 B2 d· Secure loads safely

0 ^% q3 ~9 Q3 @3 k: |· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
$ L  u* C* K* m5 J$ V# z' F7 b3 T! q
. o9 q" n# A0 Q; b6 ^% l' k' F$ O8 v· Minimum 3 years experience
: B4 G+ C6 q' m% f! ~. a- m. l
· Valid Class 1 license

8 H$ k( X% I4 ~! ?/ G( I/ _· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
* }& J! t5 r2 I! u) K
· Load securement certification
$ n$ |- h+ B; B
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

9 I$ {# V5 V# \! D2 B$ d) f· Excellent organizational and time management skills
* |1 q6 A0 j" y  J4 D
2 ^% r% j9 E  \, O# e7 n0 A· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
# L5 L, S! p6 I( n" Z2 f6 Q
· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

# Q/ J7 B- ~* ]· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
