CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

0 Y2 C) ~, V3 ^  N$ e· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

* K3 |( I3 F) T: Y0 o· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
* o% y9 T3 r" R# F% L7 ZQualifications and Training Requirements

# u+ p$ H, [* b1 t· Minimum 3 years experience

& C) _+ A$ R5 M5 a1 q- t" W· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

, P2 e7 d- A$ V· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

6 B0 s0 D. C; o0 u% h· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

- W- y( a$ X1 E· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
