CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

% G" ]: ]  G2 J$ |1 k0 \· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
/ P( e. P, @1 e: `( R7 ?, y
: s; m$ l! ]/ P) [· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
; ^8 S7 e( U! ~) t& z; G' b
7 B. r. T1 A$ k" s· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

7 G0 W& z# s+ m. I- l( O$ \· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
! e0 F- R9 q' {4 g: UQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

5 w, [1 H9 W+ w· Load securement certification

& {/ z* `3 A# t$ U/ Y. [, d3 k· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

/ C$ u+ t2 v! @) D; I# W0 z! X· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
