MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
# X5 H. e$ R9 o9 I8 nBrief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
6 _! g/ G% i! E; oDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
$ z2 O! l- s3 E! V( I; d2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
' e, r+ u! \1 k1 J3 N2 e. y3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
' V& K: W' K8 K$ E3 t" H( B7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
4 k8 l; W6 L2 K. j; ~5 \1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
