English writing practice

All of us know that practice makes perfect. If you want to be good at speaking English, you need to speak it a lot. If you want to be a good writer, you have to write as often as you can. Some of us do not need to write much for our jobs, nor for personal communications. That is why I am thinking that you can practice your writing skills here, at this forum. You may write about anything, such as your experience, your thoughts, or your stories.

As the Chinese saying goes, I am going to throw out a brick, hopefully, somebody will throw back a jadestone. In other words, I will write some short passages, in the hope of throwing out a minnow to catch a whale

Thanks for your reply. As a matter of fact you are participating the writing practice when you are replying in English.

Is it possible to create a private group in which people who love writing in English can efficiently communicate, but not interrupt other public ? On top of that, individual’s writing may need to be corrected by other peers before publishing.
