Average house prices have hit half a million dollars in southwest Edmonton and almost $400,000 across the Capital region.. {% p6 ?0 l& L2 I4 P, a5 @+ {

Edmonton-area prices averaged $398,476 for single-family homes and $325,339 for all housing forms.. n+ s$ U7 z$ G

In only the first three months of this year, average home prices have climbed 12.4 per cent, so Pratt has abandoned her earlier forecast of a 15 per cent increase for the full year.6 {9 O# S+ P+ K3 s5 d

“We’re predicting that prices will continue to rise until August, at four to five per cent per month, then at two per cent per month,” she said today.
