CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
: Y2 n% a, O) K5 I5 a•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
; g7 v$ M/ I" n+ \. Z( _1 u0 I; t•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
7 l) y& w  ?5 u4 L3 R3 f* ?•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
6 R$ ^* O- d1 q•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
& q" d& S/ i: Y* F•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

- h3 v: }3 L; Y# y•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
' M. K, G% z! C# S/ y•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
