CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
# ~* ^" y( D6 e) r, i4 Y. D+ c& b•        Manage all accounting transactions
+ i& m9 D9 K* q•        Publish financial statements in time
0 R. u& `" A# r" U$ z•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
8 H3 r3 N/ W+ G•        Ensure timely bank payments
) B7 G+ Q' p( c; q% h•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
! q' V3 `; o$ @! _- W" @) U- |  Z•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
9 b# F, q: G' h0 U" R+ m3 ^3 ?•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

, A& m* ?  A1 m1 J9 G7 P+ [  QAccountant Requirements:
9 m, L& {- q: q% k* `
•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
0 ~. E2 c6 e# z5 i9 y* z1 C•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
* X+ S) }& G6 g! z# ~% R•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
5 V: F  `% p6 A. |9 H7 w( c' F( H2 b•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
$ B! y9 q) _( @- t) @+ \•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
