CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
! \( ]) r% E0 u1 T7 \* g( f3 l6 C•        Manage all accounting transactions
$ P" @5 p4 M1 l3 s" X. T•        Publish financial statements in time
" y5 F' C; W( R" k) a: q•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
8 N5 g4 t/ Y: R& M•        Ensure timely bank payments
: _& i6 _0 T( h+ G+ ^) k+ t, r, K•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
' z. |1 p/ W) Y0 ^•        Comply with financial policies and regulations

/ t1 {$ _! e8 F4 T3 FAccountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
! r$ B4 ?1 W) a•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
: y1 U$ n. g" U% y•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
