This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

/ ?$ ?( S- d# \1 C: eThe procurement officer is responsible for:
) G; k+ N! H( O5 @, `9 E-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
/ N1 M" R8 F: X9 r. s" Y' K4 c- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
" D6 o4 x6 c3 a# k* w) |- Strong organization and time management skills
" Y/ H$ l1 o4 q& ~' k- Friendly and outgoing personality
+ V, p# n1 I+ W5 T- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Q; |: v- q5 b1 F4 w1 ~- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
6 n( {7 l) U; E+ x: u5 j- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
; ?7 f8 G9 W# K, N- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
