This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

0 r+ u# S# |  g5 D3 i: S8 _1 aThe procurement officer is responsible for:
0 \2 n3 c: F" }5 \- G9 ]-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
" [/ v! h1 f. ?3 B, B1 v, T-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
; h4 N# r7 O9 [" J3 l- T
Requirements:
$ e2 _5 b; I% [6 d- Sound research skills
# n+ E, z' V9 S7 L- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
  c7 w+ Y0 U% n+ Q- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
+ K& p% i" W/ [$ w8 G# ]- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
