" s# U9 c2 H* D+ AThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

( P8 o* h# o% MThe procurement officer is responsible for:
. D9 ^7 N1 Q; T4 J-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
& W; v8 j, X) n$ }4 g. K-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
& z' I& \; Z% ~-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
* l5 f7 W5 ?5 p3 K( }) q% i/ s! D-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
) v2 X% d4 Z. V1 R- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
! W8 h* _% n* z  {7 S- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
2 J; x# g1 \! F- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
