Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
# j* u* b9 [+ n8 N-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
' n4 f% Q# `- D2 J5 e' x. C-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
$ m9 d" R( r5 j: ]& U. }1 P; c" w-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
! |+ ^4 K' L& N9 d-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
" g+ p' _7 j+ ^4 {-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
3 o5 S5 g) V$ F' U0 x( [-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
" x- Q3 d) k7 C  @. V, V+ C, O-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
-Sales Experience is an asset
& y/ v: D9 ]7 q( }" O3 x-Fluent in English and Cantonese
-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
