PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.1 B2 `, ]( C' x' ~6 `* E* w- ]/ }0 r
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.) I9 s! i6 q/ G% i2 ~7 [ I. F D3 Z
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
- ^- @$ C7 ^; a0 ^5 d4 u# T, UCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables./ J7 d( B) n3 z/ p6 m& y' b
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications
1 e Q5 E7 z: B7 H& p+ \Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.# w! M2 m$ ~) ~* c' b
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.3 B0 \: N' g( M4 |/ ?; L' k, i
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed7 K, }2 R* \" x4 Y
Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
`" z. x+ \: N6 _Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution1 s" W1 r! k9 V* r, |, D( n
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
+ k1 _$ w y$ C3 u1 v: L8 J7 R* DEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
5 U. J8 V7 j% QExecute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
' P- V: x* Y) o0 ]( J" k& NParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed4 f+ ~6 h6 u% h/ l& ~
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing
# A+ W! b2 ~+ p& N7 oLead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure) T! w: T; q0 k- q% `
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits. `: k7 w- N% ]

Qualifications/Requirements:
9 s* H. F w0 w8 p: R# a) z0 }: t $ i* R1 ~4 w% u7 o
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
& ]: ~" H# y f7 ~0 F5 f& FTwo to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
% I! v b, w8 C* ]6 pAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)
0 |# Y9 G2 o/ o( ~% ?6 cExperience interpreting process control documents.

# {2 U- e* C Q& U' L1 N* BProven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
- U8 Z& d/ c- i% e' u3 h7 qKnowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
" s3 C4 c/ {2 T$ Q( e) s2 Q8 LMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)
# |/ w N7 s- ~6 GElectrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment
# ]$ E3 L5 n$ k4 y0 M' V+ C; jAbility to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
