9 y% R4 v A5 n- _) K( mAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

% Z; C" U) E5 r+ N5 N4 ?. o* V- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
4 ^/ Q; y3 c/ C! |* R/ L" Q- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. * V- X3 J0 s7 w: O" Z4 Z
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
# f9 d. Y2 T s" d1 G4 K/ Z* R; ?2 }$ S- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ' {7 Y% x T& a* D/ M( X- U
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ( D+ [7 u+ V6 t( k; j
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 3 V V) j6 i3 S: C

Experience and Education Requirements
' g6 p7 d5 C% s' Y q9 V v: e, g) p: L5 t2 T- U: k
- Previous supervisory experience 5 C8 E( Z p( Q+ B
- Strong leadership skills
6 Y( q4 u" Y- \$ W- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
/ W1 i" Q8 F E+ @# ~8 e0 s- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills - f) ~5 S+ R! I
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations ' N) m" n/ M! z/ ]- {! A S
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
