0 ^* \2 i x. \/ `0 fAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:+ e$ i8 u) s+ j1 K9 W
& X p- Y" z" B. d" r% `
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
: z+ O. q7 z3 [3 `$ W; y- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. , \0 f5 g; r- x9 J
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.

- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
0 _6 V: [6 D5 @1 u- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ( E* n' W* T n# P$ @6 d- E
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements# ]' E5 j' p+ _
6 }' `( J* y# B. c- q5 P b4 @- Previous supervisory experience 7 q! A5 V E* L3 z( T& x) t
- Strong leadership skills 9 s4 l ]5 D5 `
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
5 ~/ I6 I3 z: t- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
/ j4 e4 U, z. p3 v- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
& H6 @( a: ?- j. g. T! O- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques., {' B; m( W3 P! t( K% n+ F
