Job Description :  Description of Accountability

7 ~) H9 h9 G3 y* E1 l) Y. `. S' \As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
2 ]" {* y5 O3 d  z: s. o! v- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
$ @: R0 K! w( w9 x3 I* ?- Managing shift expense budgets.

# g5 O+ K3 H) H5 g1 W; ]. SExperience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills
# H. t, w% C" o# J3 Y, S- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
6 L! c7 v1 ^: m- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
