! y9 N1 G# m7 R1 tAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:; N( H3 v! @$ W& t4 z) i

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. " a" w- ~0 P! v% k$ F
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
; I8 B0 m* V- o7 S4 c" @, {- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
0 k( `& g0 g) X- h/ `: l, l- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
. ^& V: \8 a; }8 A2 L0 ]- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
) M, J& \7 q3 D; W% ^- H- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). & j& M. S2 b) r6 F; J) @/ Q
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience
' b- i% a7 \- o6 X3 h- Strong leadership skills ! [7 [4 r2 W+ p$ z K
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
) Y9 ?# s. C7 r- x/ W8 g- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills * e A+ e# K' x
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations $ c& m* P, f. u9 U0 {% I1 a, u- ?
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.+ ]% b- \1 X4 M4 d9 E2 G
