To become a probationary driver you must:
1 v7 {8 Q' R' N6 X, ? e2 q. h0 D: _ F6 g
Be 16 years of age or older.
2 m3 v! u6 z0 s$ p* S4 m# FPass the standard Alberta Class 5 road test.. m4 G4 j8 @4 \- |1 G

Probationary Conditions：

( k6 l4 Y; @8 E e/ }7 ]. r1。ust spend a minimum of two years as a probationary driver. ) |8 V9 {. [# a3 A
2。No more passengers than seat belts.
% _# g& T( ^4 u7 r3。Fewer demerit points (8) are allowed than for fully licensed drivers (15). ; u' E% b( x* C. [+ L

5。No upgrading to a commercial licence (Classes 1, 2, 3, or 4). ' X9 x4 G3 t$ N6 G N. W
6。Cannot serve as an accompanying driver to a learner. |
