In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
4 T0 _, ~  X( @5 rAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
& C* K* @2 D) K5 G2 y" ]Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
" k/ Z; Y. e6 E$ _2 L) W& QBe accountable for decision and actions
Mitigate risk to the organization.
Education:
& e. s0 w( u+ x' e8 j- n# Y, X7 C) k  h
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
. y6 Q& m! @9 ]0 M% E* ~1 \' zExperience:

3 k' A- a4 D1 \/ Y- s. XDemonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
) X  U7 v8 l" `* j2 BPublic speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
Professional:

Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
, e& v7 h: e' o! T& lMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the

Must have clear criminal record
