LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

& s- T5 }' T2 p& E$ D: C$ U' iSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
5 y8 n; {+ |& Q. C0 M• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
9 Z/ |+ M2 D  f   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
, f% k/ [  u# S( d   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
& `  b4 ]+ i( T" C/ m   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
: K( f% j2 T6 \9 ~4 J8 J   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
8 L( I& q5 x1 j/ K$ X• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

2 {8 @7 A! ^" O, G7 T5 r: ?• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
; l4 l: q' n( B* x  d• Certification should include some or all of the following:
" L9 _4 a( O) u, N% [" S8 P   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  {9 b: R6 ~) E3 ^) g$ K0 R   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
0 v" `' l4 z: `/ ?   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
/ t6 d7 G+ u" E4 T5 h• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
