DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
5 \6 A4 _) y  dSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
. W- L" x! [& v+ v/ p1 `! D   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
) y4 M* R7 k4 {6 T   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
/ @" g3 x; K1 ~/ Z( B   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
7 y4 `$ k5 H: i+ J6 G5 E  L( w   o Sun Solaris operating systems
( [) j# D9 n4 o% |& q   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
+ y3 U- ?; M( g• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
) U) c- K. u! d1 o# t" t  @, I• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
& R$ e- i" x: ]. gplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
  ?7 s+ b2 ^, J& d: w• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
* X, l0 A" b# y  l& \' S0 R0 S• Excellent written and verbal skills
) `0 M6 ^, K& k, j/ F# s• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

. B5 c3 h6 q" M: q8 ~1 V* Y; d. ^• Certification should include some or all of the following:

   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
8 A9 c5 X- E( k$ q   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
1 C& M4 p2 \0 V( u   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
9 d* J: @! X9 U/ A/ ?• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
& k. b. ?* V# |9 y- a2 t• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
! n) K' X. P7 K; K• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
