LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
3 y0 o7 V' G& L1 O9 [3 E  J$ w. w• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
5 Y  |* Y0 ]5 ^6 |4 c  |   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
4 P5 b0 Y7 W& I1 c" f4 s   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
) h5 J( q5 `8 y0 k   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
; A$ c$ a% a2 L   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
, w+ N" A  _3 b* J' D) `• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
$ r5 A% ^6 M+ K0 r7 N2 ?9 M6 d1 l0 n• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
. z' d$ [, b. q6 Y0 \0 c4 Pplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

- o: \! n- e# S7 o( g- lSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
( i& U/ D: @* [& `! v8 ~, @7 }• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
- |" |- g3 r8 ]; w9 [+ X2 t• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
& J4 c4 c6 S1 ~& i& c• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
$ |3 x, f8 V/ r' f( l( D6 v7 o• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
9 o, d  {( _3 g% \* F, B4 b   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

4 d4 ], o1 Y: e  ~• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
& g; M$ M' \3 j5 X2 v- f  k• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
3 ?4 Z" C; g8 {# {8 Z• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
' A2 {/ }% [5 i$ o• Have 4+ years of network design experience
6 H4 m7 T; s: x- C& o) O• Have led medium to large sized projects
