EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

/ I2 S! T2 K4 }7 n9 n  c7 |. R! l• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
7 b# _  J3 B4 ^; d7 f   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
  R1 b' R! b( Z/ s   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
6 Y7 I7 F" X6 H  P- m4 Y/ j% P! d   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
% K9 v4 \! m3 d6 I4 b8 j) j  B   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
1 I+ ~: W+ I$ e/ N   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
" W+ M- E6 E4 p6 ?• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
" o8 ?/ G5 q/ s0 a  F• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
0 v5 ]8 d: w9 s* Q+ e2 Nplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
) L& o9 J" B* t$ \) b/ z• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills

: w- a, }* M# v& M: ^6 R- c  {• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
+ N" C1 o6 ^1 ^$ p' Z7 j7 H: N• Certification should include some or all of the following:
* G4 S5 _6 g, f9 ]2 P   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
  i4 G* z1 k9 S1 g# D6 m   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
! {, Z' F) q* |6 J: d   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
; q; Q( N5 Y) z4 A• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
( c1 G! y0 T8 ~5 b• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
