DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:

   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
$ N7 b4 z8 `  [2 Z" G' a- e/ ?   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
: I( ?! [( ~$ A. u' y0 o. t   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
  M2 @0 u7 e% J• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
7 z6 R, u% \2 y  T9 w8 H/ v" B• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
3 d+ v: ]! o& n( }& lSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
0 c1 v% f. }$ ?$ K' K2 d% g% y! e• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

) c  Z. r$ Z* R7 K5 ?• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
, W& L$ ^0 L" X' E3 z8 ~2 M• Excellent written and verbal skills

/ v6 T. [6 V4 K7 K: }  b. |• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

4 s! J6 J" l6 r8 X   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
0 `8 O3 o$ f$ X: D" l   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
/ ^* U5 r8 G( ^8 q• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
