6 `, j4 L1 z W, t" Xcan you please elaborate on this? Are walkouts more prone to having such problems? Does it have to do with the way its foundation is laid? or the type of land on which a walkout is typically built? Could it also be that the misalignment in the door is due to winter weathering (freeze-thaw cycles)? This walkout is built on footings, not piles and the basement and patio concrete floor is the "floating" type. However, both main level and basement doors went out of alignment for quite a while on the same side, and I noticed there is a window on the main level with a curvy top (very subtle). Are these signs of foundation problem or more of a weathering effect? Thanks! |
