Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
  N; y; S% |  ?% W5 W( J- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
! ]: h6 ^5 e0 Z7 {- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
9 B5 l7 ]: y' J: ?, r; g! P- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
, O; ~5 s- b  R. h, W' j- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
' n- `" D" ?7 o2 ]0 w5 Z8 a- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
( Y4 N8 A2 e  lWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
