Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
6 T. D/ @+ y8 w" a2 N+ F- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
+ N) O8 T* Z# l1 c5 i) B6 m( s7 k) v- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
! y# U% i) f9 T+ d9 G- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary

- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
4 ], C7 N! z) W$ X- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

) l- {; i/ Q* S: j' mThis is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
