Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me: 3 u2 e- ?4 p H9 h1 y
"I am going to send it back". / q8 F; n% m4 ?% |% n
I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:$ I7 d% P8 r1 M, n# H
"I am sorry, what are you sending back?" 7 `, a+ U9 u3 z3 |' g7 }
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage." * T, e8 I3 O/ e) @ X) h8 }9 m
"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"

Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post. & }* p6 M# q) L% i* K. _, {* q' Q0 g
He took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet. ' [& c: [5 f& n9 h- s
"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
P& c/ M+ n. _1 }8 {"No, I am not. I do not do those things." Z, O7 V" d7 O6 X! A) I
He took out his wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside. , m }) [1 Q3 l& d* v
I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:

"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:4 e. _: Q+ U+ Y( _2 V, i
"I do not have an address."

He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
$ c2 ^8 [8 O W& a! |' z- PMy heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it. & i- V' H# o( x: a4 b
He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity. $ Y9 O( f$ N, c$ \; }6 ]- D
