Job Description:

6 N- S4 c- [# R! u/ ^7 R: \Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  |6 i. _2 @) }/ YEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  U! f2 m4 G0 T6 oArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
4 z9 q9 c: X! t3 S: _& W: qGive prepared plates the “final touch”
0 G# m5 @0 y  P" P+ k$ KPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
& f  d1 ?4 r! X4 v8 F" ?Keep time and payroll records
) H+ t$ f$ g( f1 z# v/ Z2 qMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
# ]$ A, N9 {0 @1 i" K2 RCapable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
+ C5 X2 M' i/ T# CBS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
