EDMONTON — Nearly 2,300 violations were issued over a one day traffic blitz across Edmonton last week.' x" l1 |! [- z
# I, G# k w! V# s H5 n& X. hNineteen hundred of the 2,295 total violations were a result of speeding. The rest of the tickets (373) were doled out for seatbelt infractions, impaired driving, distracted driving, and red light violations.

The numbers were nearly identical to a November enforcement blitz, when there were 2,316 violations.
