We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:: H+ |! [ `( t" Q9 q, V
9 U5 F- T: ^$ }7 w$ P• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
+ e h3 y- G. s3 ~& z• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
+ A% S& ?6 x: I( R• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible- |4 S# p* G2 z2 N7 a# Y

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study0 G4 S- K; }+ P
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
: o8 i: j# i, \* k• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers! c* s: i/ i% Y& c
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
