POSITION: Junior Accountant

DUTIES:

9 {- j7 N! J+ N1 M$ u$ @• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
2 N$ d+ G, u7 n• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.2 s! c% a: L/ M: n
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible! V* z& |3 k2 x, c3 c5 e5 W
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.7 R- Q0 T7 _) W2 t

REQUIREMENTS:9 l: g$ w5 X' X

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
9 I$ e9 a- o3 |# V @• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study# F5 w3 e: S& f2 A3 D
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills4 t" I2 f( U1 H& B( D
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers' i: f4 o/ r$ g0 m' G. g
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)0 R4 R9 ]( X7 G, r/ X, t
