When an employer terminates employment

An employer must give an employee whose employment is being terminated written termination
6 t+ m' v' I% ^, Z% d8 p2 Q5 Knotice of at least:

• one week for employment of more than 3 months, but less than 2 years;
7 l W) a; f t* }" ^5 v) O• two weeks for employment of 2 years or more, but less than 4 years;
, p, U3 X- f# ?0 q$ s2 E2 m/ z- `• four weeks for employment of 4 years or more, but less than 6 years;
! `. i7 o. }5 `0 j" M2 f8 h' J• five weeks for employment of 6 years or more, but less than 8 years;
/ S( A$ Q% W) Y7 i. g- }• six weeks for employment of 8 years or more, but less than 10 years; and
