据可靠消息，爱城一个运输公司由于违法交通安全法规将会面临300万加币罚款。

警方调查显示,今年8月15日到九月19日之间，这家运输公司向Yellowhead 和170街的垃圾回收站运送了1907车次垃圾。每车次最少超重一吨，最高超载17.9吨。

; d5 V1 D: w/ i, A3 C1 aAn Edmonton-based trucking coming is facing $3 million dollars worth of fines under the Traffic Safety Act for allegedly operating overweight vehicles on city roads.
A police investigation revealed that between August 15 and September 19, the unnamed company made 1,907 trips to the waste management facility located on Yellowhead Trail and 170 Street.
* v  |8 q" s! }9 uPolice say the trucks were transporting loads that were overweight by a least one tonne each visit. One truck was recorded as being 17.9 tonnes overweight.
$ G8 D2 r7 X, y2 ^- V: N, L"The company is facing a fine of just over $3 million dollars," said EPS Const. Dave Beattie. "It's a big fine, I'll give you that, but for the police it's not about the value of the fine, it's about keeping these roads safe."
/ g' o- |8 E" ^& g# z1 EBeattie explains that with overweight vehicles, braking can be a problem.
