Police have named the man who died in Monday’s crash north of Fort McMurray on Highway 63./ u7 D/ S6 H" w- H5 ~# c5 N/ u/ F: P
Alan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.# O9 Q) H# N; E) ~7 Q; V

The crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.- f6 q$ [9 U5 K8 X% b; S/ H
The driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges. |
