In whatever galaxy,                                               September 29th 2006,
I believe there must be creatures like ourselves

Savages
Poets
Builders of canoes,

Risk takers,
My mind is full of curiosity and wonder
As I think of what could be.

I wonder what it means to be
I looked up at the star and smiled
, [! S; a9 P' K& J1 Q3 OThey flashed as they have heard all I have read.

Here am I,
* h: K# Q' Z" {; z. L8 PA poor old Guy;
% S; ]* u; x# ^" S6 ?Legs in a bonfire,
Head in the sky
# I: v( D: S# r! O: L& nLonely, with the feel of betray
% |2 J' s3 N$ P0 r' ?8 ZHeart empty and hollow
8 _, U* F9 `6 g! z( z4 _* Y  L5 Q4 @$ uAlone I stand
I am useless to all
But I wish I were a dove
$ Y6 r; j7 x. W$ u; \7 e: SGiving myself to the world, to the fire
I feel like burning myself in to dust and fly with the wind
7 {8 L$ ^- b4 z+ fI sent prayers to my god
Though he does not answer
He bless me with the gift of hope
