   Glass Worker – (Manufacturing Plant 1, Edmonton)

Headquartered in Edmonton, All Weather Windows is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Mississauga and sales branches/offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Atlantic Canada.

We are currently recruiting for Glass Workers for our Edmonton Manufacturing Plant.

; {. {( D  g! G9 m1 t2 n6 R The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities will include:
9 i& T# K% Q- R2 @$ v•Lift single piece of glass between 5-30 Ibs.
•Understand quality issues of glass: quality of glass edge, proper technique when pulling glass out of harp rack slots, scratches, defects, etc.
" z7 B4 |; Q/ I! R8 g" ]4 L. s3 }•Fill and empty washer tanks and keep tanks clean
•Follow proper pattern and placement of glass
•Keep work area clean.
•Keep up good pace to keep line moving.

/ D  d# r# ]- I" Y$ [) ePrimary Qualifications Required:
# b' p. F( t. D( [•Basic English communication skills
•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools
•Good eye sight.
( F( `- [1 }, G1 C•Able to lift up to 50 lbs
•Ability to work under constant pressure
•Willing to do multi tasks when needed as member of the team
•Must be a good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Status of position:

A shift:  Monday to Friday (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)

Starting wage:  $16.40.

•Offload sealed units from GED Oven press
9 t# t" {# o& c/ J: W4 \•Check Units to pass Quality Expectation
•Fill sealed units with Aragon
•Patch units
•Hot melt super spacer units
% J* ~) H3 a& Y4 N' ]) {  _( b' |•Move Racks of sealed units to designated lines

Primary Qualifications Required:
•Basic English communication skills
