Newcomers are being offered some help when shopping for a home in Edmonton’s tight housing market.
3 d+ D/ X! J; s+ _; H9 K4 jImmigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. * o' c7 S- y9 Z
1 G7 ` A: A& `6 \In the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.
