not do any of the following:

(b) have a motor vehicle on a highway unless the motor' l4 b3 k6 ]& ^
vehicle is an insured motor vehicle;% f* J6 j. B, c9 a* g! Z# a
(c) where a person is the registered owner of a motor vehicle,! r3 L, [$ L0 G9 u, {( l
permit another person
% f0 k% v& \+ Y) O, W5 E8 v5 z(i) to drive the motor vehicle on a highway, or
9 |: w8 U, C& Z6 c5 E0 ~(ii) to have the motor vehicle on a highway,
" P1 T0 A" ~ W) M( w" Y: m- ?- _unless the motor vehicle is an insured motor vehicle;
3 r% H' O4 n. g& S Z(d) give or lend a financial! v& i4 e5 `! [0 K) L3 l
responsibility card or a copy of it) w/ U! C2 H. }9 k3 u; i. ^
to a person not entitled to have that financial0 u& ^7 h9 v* }% \
responsibility card or copy.

; u: O) M9 S2 wIf a person drives or has a motor vehicle on a highway
5 }6 b8 O! o- iwithout the expressed or implied consent of the registered owner of
( v( x0 F1 \ |. p" P( j- Pthe vehicle, that person is deemed for the purposes of subsection
3 n" d7 f9 D" }" }; a+ n(1)(a) or (b) to drive or have on a highway a motor vehicle that is4 u9 }# K3 Z" S2 p
not an insured motor vehicle.

If the registration of a motor vehicle is suspended under this; y; Z+ G4 r% G3 Y! |

financial responsibility card has been issued pursuant to the

A person, other than a corporation, who contravenes subsection
- Q+ M2 ?6 J& X( k/ R7 \, V(1) or section 52(1)(h) or 167(8) is liable,) T; q+ s: u$ H' s {
(a) for the first contravention, to a fine of not less than $2500& C) C3 i: c g6 `' C; \
and not more than $10 000 and in default of payment to- E6 D! S1 E- h4 ~
imprisonment for a term of not less than 45 days and not L5 @1 L: H' S' u
more than 6 months

Minimum $2500, if you don't pay, you will go to jail for a minimum of 45 days. |
