This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible). 8 U+ \( u$ `/ q* @, q t6 g6 CWhen the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic * p. V$ c7 P8 d O/ `condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and- R/ K9 G k' ]% w* Q* H0 v# z
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or / S- ]0 K- C: a# x# Y• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.; y# a" y( |1 E- w+ W. N1 Y; z
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
