2 ]$ U# k# G3 b" sThis list comprises of vehicles that have been awarded the 2014 Top Safety Pick+ (TSP+) rating from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS).

' V/ e9 _) ?4 t2 c9 N8 E0 kTSP+ is awarded to vehicles that have proven to be exceptionally good in moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests, along with a basic rating for front crash prevention.



While no one wants to be involved in a crash, the IIHS believes it would be wise to choose a vehicle in which your chances of survival are improved.

While no subcompacts received the TSP+ rating, the Chevrolet Spark is the only vehicle in its class to receive the Top Safety Pick rating, which is just one step below TSP+.
