To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

, A# _1 i0 U% a' _  lPrimary Objective/Duties of position:

& @5 k% b0 {. ^/ u9 ?6 `( Q    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
/ z% x  r( g$ x, M2 F2 U    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
# f- Q/ }" B" `/ }    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
% ?3 [% k: y& e* A    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
, L4 X& h& o# T( g    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
: f% U$ ~' J' [  E* s    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
6 v4 u( ]  K4 W    Actively participate in training initiatives
& v4 H( p* u6 W1 z0 h" g    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

: m/ Q. S9 j4 T, T    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
+ q, n$ V. E8 Q( C    Previous sales experience an asset
) }2 q! H6 V8 T8 k8 m    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
* s, o/ V8 [. z( c5 g    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  p' X" O1 c) ?' f) ~1 ?- m) v! d    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
