5 n. Q! g/ e% h: W: s- N8 i6 jOverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales& o; ?7 d8 J$ D+ D# V2 ]

! ~4 K4 o3 i- B% h: I1 PKey Responsibilities:
: v- v9 S7 O6 i6 @% i
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

9 r6 }+ V* B- C; S• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.
! K& b/ I( @* K1 H! ~/ R+ ?
• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
' J! N' z6 \' G3 P5 f
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

Job Qualifications
. s6 I: m: F* F: s* O6 Y: u |• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
8 P* z* ?" v/ J7 B2 L* T& X* y
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
9 g: T0 H% b' k$ \( P+ D2 G/ M
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

2 w u) d* `1 A5 K" V2 l• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
 T% Y( x: n# G- ^2 K$ k S
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.; ~; D% ~& p/ a' g' n8 B

• Travel within the assigned region.
