Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales& |6 E8 T, g) R8 v

3 q7 l% v) T3 c- _- ?) SKey Responsibilities:

1 o6 o, {! |# V. L8 W8 h0 `• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
2 g: g% r V: j: V" E( s% o3 C, G
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year. Q0 ~9 X9 T& k( g! C

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.% D* G! m( d/ d; o

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.0 S2 z4 e* V4 Z- ~6 L f

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

! Y; P& Q1 T& B• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets./ k$ z4 L: z/ S4 L3 V5 T( }

Job Qualifications
* {) |- f' j$ N8 R- j! q# t/ n• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
4 S: j; d: A- a( Z6 b
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

1 o3 L v' U* y( L, Y• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

' v9 G4 D* _3 _- ]0 _6 M• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
; O' H0 l5 N+ C7 _$ p3 Y1 a+ B
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
; k4 e2 e) h) Y" J; F
• Travel within the assigned region.
