请教：门前树下的一圈石子怎么铺？

去年才买的房，今年门前树下的那一圈石子上已经有很多草长了出来。
我想要把石子重新铺一下，不知道需要注意些什么呢？

是不是这些步骤？
1 f: H8 Z' g8 |4 M6 g% l+ [7 h' `% o把石子移走
1 _! P) H% N+ |8 M. Y* r把下面的landscaping fabric移走
. ]1 E  N2 `7 a7 x! l  U7 U: v皮圈里面的草拔掉
& ^  P/ t2 V" u: U3 {) b: V$ M(需不需要在剩下的土上喷一下除草剂呀？会不会连树一起给灭了呢？)
铺新的landscaping fabric
再把石子铺回去
1 \. u" L3 \# v9 n- g& i6 h) ?
还有就是这项工程英文叫什么？我也好去youtube搜搜看有没有教程。

chance is minimal, if worry, cover the tree trunk with something when you spray the herbicide.

底下铺一些碎木头或树皮，草就不长了。上面在放上石子。
