Z5 ]; o; r3 P6 pReporting to the Team Lead for Drilling and completions, the Senior Drilling Engineer will perform all aspects of well design including; Casing and Tubing Design, Mud Systems, Fluid Hydraulics, Primary and Remedial Cementing, Specialized Technical Software for tubular design and effect improvements in drilling efficacy.

For each well, confirm casing/tubing stress analysis, mud/hydraulics programs, cementing program, collision avoidance criteria
# H2 N7 { E! P1 n `1 nPrepare Drilling Program, Basis of Design, ADW and other special operations programs as required in the course of the operation + K" g* K& b4 }
Steward to the recently implemented Well Delivery Model for Suncor including multi discipline peer reviews and post well reviews2 R, J' X2 x+ @: \: \8 m* D# {
Prepare End of Well Report which details cost analysis, operation analysis and provides recommendations for continuous improvement & h2 M/ C5 [1 C/ I7 r1 v1 r
Prepare technical specifications to be used in tenders for materials, services and equipment used in the drilling operations
a" @- K" ^' g- M$ E! d5 kStays abreast of current technology and Best Practices within and industry and recommend the application of new technology 2 d& @" b# A: x
Prepare management of change for drilling programs as needed' `' [- L' @4 j
Communicate regularly with the cross discipline members of the NAO Team on progression, lessons learned cost and efficiency improvements as well as investigation on operational setbacks0 u- k1 \* G! d& a% Z; |" C" z
Mentor junior staff
( _/ {: s e8 o- g7 o- Q- K) h' RParticipate in cross company technical forums on drilling and completion technology

The preferred candidate will be a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA
